b29 will have same lethality as b17 since the b17 has the b29s gun system already I only pray that the guns field of fire is modelled accurately as possible (ie: top turrets not able to fire through the tail and no firing through the props.

I thought the B29 had some 20mm cannons in the tail?  No?

the majority of b29s had the 20mm removed as it caused aiming problems for the gunner.

it was a single 20mm with two 50cal in the tail.

I would honestly say that I would have flown (I hate to say it) a 109 (Yuck) to get 20mm's in the back of my B17. As for the B17 with 20mm cannon in the tail, I believe it was a field modification on some squadrons but this would reduce the fire arc and so many reverted back to .50s.

I think the odd plane had a 20mm cannon in the nose as well, but was deemed to be rather unsafe and took up far too much room.
