Title: I wish the wishlist...

... required experience and knowledge in order to makes posts... but I realize that would be unfair to new users...  :devil

If experience and knowledge was required nobody here would be able to post.  not many ww2 pilots left and they prolly have better things to do than play the game  :lol.
a long long time ago in a galaxy far away, when what was considered the smartest man alive was asked if he really was smart, he replied "all I know is that I know nothing".  Maybe a better alternative would be to let the experts have their own thread, see how well they do  :devil.

I think you are reading too much into 'experience and knowledge' as I meant with AHII. I suspect a lot of recent posts are from people that are not even subscribed.

I agree but they are nice troll bait for people like myself.

6 months in game before you could even read the wishlist, and a 1 post a week in the wishlist for the first year would go a long ways IMO.

But then I'm a crusty grumpy ol fart.

I tend to agree. Educated research is severely lacking here. The common phrase is, "It would be cool if...". The other thing that bothers me is that some "wishes" are for things with a "bigger, better, faster, tougher, uber" attitude, rather than filling in the missing pieces that encompass most of the entirety of the aircraft/vehicle set of WW2, "uber" or otherwise.

One of the biggest problems is that stupid, redundant ideas get the most attention from the "flamers" and crowd out the better ideas.

If people would ignore "B-29 nook" threads and the like, they wouldn't keep getting bumped and drive the threads with merit off the page.

I would take what you posted as humorous but you neglected to post anything like a smiley or a 'lol' so...

When was the last time you ever got a comment like this:

I agree 100% with how challenger described things, but to be clear,...
HiTech

Hmmm? Never! Thats when.  :D
