Title: 109 Bubble Canopy?
Post by: RedTeck on September 21, 2009, 12:10:02 AM: I've been browsing the P-51 Encounter Reports on www.wwiiaircraftperformance.o rg and saw this one mention a "bubble canopy". I'll give Mr. Yeager the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't actually looking at Fw-190s. Was he just talking about the erla haube canopy?

Most likely the Erla haube.

Odd, in-game didn't look as 'bubbled' to me as the pics; thought maybe the one shown there would give a bit better views...looking at the K and G14 on the ground I can see though that they're the same canopy. :huh

I am pretty sure the Galland Hood is an earlier design.
