We sure have had a bumper crop this year of the big ones. The smaller acorn trees had hardly anything. The funny thing is this tree is right over where I park my truck. When you start off in the morning one almost thinks something is broken on the vehicle with them rattling around on the roof.
Took this pic with a fairly nice Sony camera I bought recently at a pawn shop for fifty bucks. Funny thing is there were no cables, accessories, or anything but just the camera. They had 4 Garmin Nuvis there as well without any mounting hardware or cables...lol.

Wow nice size acorns there. I hear they are out of favor this year.

Can you send me some?
I heard they can help me start a "service' business.

Sounds like they were stolen items

Just don't let those things near the voting booths!

I'm confused as to why someone would pawn their GPS unit without the mount or plug... Wouldn't it be worth a lot more with those essential items?
-
Well maybe cause it wasn't their GPS units.

They probably stole it and they didn't have time to grab the rest of it.

That's just ridiculous. Pawn shops don't buy stolen stuff; it's against the law.

Yeah and if you believe that I've got a sandbox in death valley that i would like to sell you. Pawn shops are one of the first places that get checked for stolen goods.

Which is exactly why they don't buy stolen stuff.

Unfortunately they have no way of telling if most stuff is stolen.
There is no way to track a stereo or tools.

One of my old roommates had his bike stolen off of our front porch. He found a bike matching his on eBay advertised by a local pawn shop. He went to the shop and (with the help of a police report) matched the numbers and got his bike back. Its a risk for the pawn shop to buy from people but most people cannot prove without a doubt that a stolen item is actually theirs.
