Here are four missions to enjoy now:   :aok

http://www.esnips.com/web/StalwartsAcesHighMissions (http://www.esnips.com/web/StalwartsAcesHighMissions)

Tally-ho
Map: ndisles
Description: Early model Hurricanes and Spitfires intercept 110s with 109 escorts over a factory.
Design Objective: With BOB aircraft, create interesting merge angles against a large escorted strike formation.
Order of Battle:

Stryker's Trio
Map: slot2
Description: The Nik takes on the F6F and the Hurri2 simultaneously.
Design Objective: Create Stryker's requested match-up in three different force strengths.
Order of Battle:

Zero vs Wildcat
Map: ndisles
Description: A barrel on roller sakes with an ironing board shoved through fights Japan's flying Samurai sword.
Design Objective: Recreate a classic Pacific War match-up using the Navy's modest early war fighter model.
Order of Battle:

Eagles & Lions
Map: ndisles
Description: Early war BOB furball.
Design Objective: Pit a variety of early model German and Brittish aircraft in a low alt clash.
Order of Battle:

These are all meat-and-potatoes missions without the frills.  All have been reworked in the last few days.  Should you encounter issues with these missions, I would greatly appreciate your bringing them to my attention.

Have you selected ndisles terrain prior to launching Offline Practice?

When you choose Offline Missions and you're thrown into the tower, take a look at the map on your clipboard.  What map do you see?

Hello Stalwart:

Downloaded ur 4 missions into missres folder, d/l'd ndisles & slot2 into ahiiterrain
folder.  All with NEGATIVE results!!   :uhoh

Selected ndisles & clicked on "Practice Missions",  should've seen the 3 missions:
Tally-ho, Zeros vs  Wildcats & Eagles v Lions.   End result zero (0) missions shown!

Tried slot2, clicked on "Practice Missions", should've seen Stryker's Trio  ... saw zilch

Sofar, none of the missions are listed in Practice Missions    :(  Pls fix, TY.

OK, This had me puzzled for a while.  The problem is not in the missions, it's in the distribution via esnips.     The files you download from esnips are not named the same as the files I uploaded to esnips.  Go friggin figure!~  :frown:

Problem identified.  Need more time for a solution.

I use esnips for my missions.  Put the mission(s) in a zip folder.  All will be groovy.  It gets jacked up if you have a link straight to the .res.

Tuk, my Hell's Gate mission is next up on my update to the new version list.  The terrain is done, except I can't "build" the terrain until the T.E. gets a fix-it patch.  I'll try to get a few missions made up for ya in the meantime running on default AH terrains(a first for me!).

The re-distribution has been tested, up and down, and the .res files came out byte-perfect this time.  The mission .res files have been renamed slightly to avoid file name convention issues.

Here's the link:  http://www.esnips.com/web/StalwartsAcesHighMissions (http://www.esnips.com/web/StalwartsAcesHighMissions)

Navigate e-snips folder convention to get the individual .res files:

Thanks for you patience.

Thanks guys!~  :)

The Hurri that spawns in the water will roll to the runway.  Guess that's why I missed it in testing.  It was pretty disquieting looking out the rear view on the re-test.  I'll adjust the spawn a few feet and re-post.  Thanks, Hellfire.

I am as sure as I can be with anything in software that pilot kills = invisible AI planes that continue to fight.  :O  This bug has been the bane of the offline mission experience.

Other invisible plane issues may be related to plane density at a location.  Were you by chance flying the Tally-ho mission when you encountered the invisibles?

!!!!! i LOVE your BoB mission! much better than bob's.....

played twice so far, Spit IX sumtin r other- 6 kils+ 1 damage, Bf110-G w/ 4 .20's- 2 kills from rear gun+ 4 kills from pilots seat.

The forces are even, but i just wish it was higher up....it always ends up on the deck :cry

I just updated Soda72's Tunisia mission to the correct format if anyone wants it. :salute

http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,275222.0.html

Also, I've taken down all of my prior missions until they are updated to the new format to prevent confusion to anyone new to offline missions (so they aren't downloading them in the wrong format.  The only ones I'm hosting right now are Baron's Battle & Tunisia.  More on the way when I get time.  I finally finished updating my RngrCove terrain, so my Hell's Gate mission getting updated should follow shortly.  As always, any terrains I make can be used by anyone for making their missions.
