Personally I have seen several but only two really stand out as really good films. The one I watched last night (Lions for Lambs) really jumped out at me and was a really a good thought provoking movie.
Lions for Lambs (2007)
A River Runs Through It (1992)

Robert Redford? Didn't know he was still alive... ;)

I thought Redford could have done better with Lions for Lambs. Seemed too contrived. I like the thought process but just went a long way to convey a simple idea. He's done some great movies but I don't think this one will make his top 5 list.

I can't name one movie he's directed.

Who?

He's the guy in A Bridge Too Far who paddles across that one river (I think the 82nd Airborne attack) saying "Hail Mary, full of grace" the entire time.

Ok I'll bite:
Legend of Bagger Vance and Horse Whisperer...although I don't think he's all that great as an actor or director.
