Title: So you want a big ticket for U2 in Atlanta on Oct. 6th?
Post by: Reschke on September 23, 2009, 01:34:19 PM
How about $19260 for a 24 person suite for the show with full food and drink? Breaks down to $817.50 each for just the show...Kinda stupid for that. I just bought four tickets for $25 each in the upper deck for the show and will probably spend a little over $200 for the night since I am taking my oldest son and his girlfriend over for the show.

Saw them in 96 on their Popmart Tour.   Great show.   The ONLY person/group I'd pay that money on anymore is if David Gilmour tours again.   I just know he'll be top notch and give a minimum of 3 hours of showtime.

I paid $25 for a GA ticket to see Living Colour next Friday.   I'll be leaning on the stage up front and last time I got Vernon Reid's setlist that Corey Glover stepped on and tore in 1/2.

Regardless, U2 will perform as expected.   It's also cool to see the parents having fun with the kids.

Thanks Karaya Hadn't heard that in a while.

$800 for a suite?  I guess if ya got it and wanna see it, more power to ya.  Personally I'd rather stand close to the stage and let them impair my hearing for the night.  If the show is good you won't need food or drink during it.

Yeah it should be a nice show but I didn't want to spend $75 a piece on GA down on the floor and have to get there 5 hours ahead of time to get close to the stage. We ended up near the dividing line between the second deck and the upper deck in the Georgia Dome and there is not a bad seat in that house for any event. Should be a great show and my ears will be shot for at least 36 hours no matter what.

The last U2 show I saw was in 1992 here in Birmingham at Legion Field and they had Public Enemy open up for them...PE showed up on stage wearing KKK masks and started rapping...it was a great show.

Just picked up tickets for Trans Siberian Orchestra on Nov.15 in NH.

18th row 75 bucks.  Not 2 bad.

I wouldn't walk to the corner of the block to see them. Thier music stinks and they are nothing but a bunch of blabing idiots.
