Title: What markings did the germans used to signify kills

On their planes. I think I remember seeing marks on their tails. Post a pic if you can, thanks

The Rudder seems to be the part I lose most often :) Well, maybe elevator then rudder.   :lol

Just plain plane kills :)
He was not known to spit in the glass though, quite the opposite. Those markings cover his kills in Fokker XXI:s and Brewsters. After those he became the CO of Lentolaivue 34 and scored some 39 more kills in 109G:s, becoming the third highest ranking ace in FAF.
