So many new planes have been added to Aces High.
:salute to HTC developers.
Since there are no limits on what we can wish for...
PBY Catalina Shouldn't this magnificent aircraft hold a role in Aces High?
G4M Betty I know we have the Ki-67, but is not the Betty the quintessential Japanese bomber?.
Ju52 The C47 is a wonderful plane. The Ju52 tri-motor is unique and special in it's way too.

Hm......
+1 (if it has the .40 cannon)otherwise, i dont see its role in AH, since it was a recon plane...maybe it could give a small radar of the area its
flying in? Drops 4 torps? otherwise, i dunno
+1/2, we could use other planes more.....
-1, im not sure why we need that.....
EDIT: id enjoy your counter arguement stal's (if i may call you that?)
-
We would only need the Ju52 for scenarios, the C47 was faster.
-
ME410 ftw
-
Yes on the PBY and several other flying boats.
Yes, AH needs the Betty, as well as German and Russian bombers.
JU-52 is armed, poorly perhaps, but its armed. Reason enough in my book.

How often is the C-47 even used in scenarios?
caldera,
I'd put the G4M several orders of magnitude more important than the A-26. Y'know, considering that it was Japan's main frontline bomber FOR THE ENTIRE FREAKIN' WAR.

<----- has the "soup nazi" on call and waits for the inevitable.

Why are you yelling at me? :cry
I can't think of everything. Bring on the Betty and the Sally and the Emily too. We need bombers that can out-burn the B-24. :)

HOWS ABOUT A B-29!!!
Or a G4M.
Either is fine with me.

Regarding the JU52. What other tri-motor saw service in the war on a comparable scale?

+1 He-111
B29 ... (oh no, don't go there)

I agree with all three and you at least gave personal commentary, instead of posting stuff from Wiki. :rock

P-63C:
410mph at alt, 365 at sea level
1800 hp WEP (vs 1100-1300 for P39 and P63A) = great acceleration
60 rounds of 37mm ammo (about double what the P39 had)
3 hardpoints for up to 1500 lbs bombs/fuel
Rocket rails for up to 8 5" HVARs
Historically correct, though virtually all went Lend-Lease to the Soviets.
This would provide a nice jabo alternative to the P47, FW190A8 and P38; a decent swing-role fighter.
Give it nasty stall characteristics (like the C.205 or Corsair with flaps up) so somewhat mimic real-world low speed handling issues.
Ok, I know I've posted about this before but you can't blame a guy for trying

How about we stop adding muscle to the already buff American planeset for a while?

And you'll get the same answer that should have been given before:
There's absolutely no evidence that the P-63 EVER saw combat in WWII, only a handful of rumors without documentary evidence since that information all points to the Soviets using P-39s. Hearsay that some of these "P-39" sorties were actually falsified to cover for use of the P-63 is no basis whatsoever to justify addition of this aircraft.

*cough* Ju 290 was the fastest, top speed of 270 mph depending on the variant.

Oscar
Just take out the Ju87. Its pretty much the same thing only slower and climbs worse.

How high do you need to climb to shoot tanks?

:huh :huh :huh :huh :huh :huh
turns like an oscar and has 2 7.62mm MGs same as the oscar.

Oh yeah, that makes it JUST LIKE the Oscar. Never mind the fact that the Oscar has a rate of climb of nearly 4000fpm and is over 100mph faster, that really has absolutely no impact on the Oscar's performance vs. the Stuka at all.
