I was going Thru some old Vinyl i have and forgot all about this Album i had... It's The Outlaws they were origanally formed in 1972, released this song Green Grass and High Tides in 1975 if I'm not mistaken, (Album's copyright 1975). This song has to be one of the best Muti-Guitar Solo Jams Ive heard for being 34 years old, Ive recorded it and uploaded it some those of you who would like to listen to it.. i do have to say recording it off Vinyl to my computer was fun, its about a 9 Min's 42 sec song, you wont be disappointed and crank it up :rock

Cool song. My all time favorite guitar solo is from "My Sharona" by The Knack. I know you're probably laughing right now, but find the unedited version of the song if you can. It's the second solo ( :lol ) and it will blow you away.
Edit: found the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=021WZBh1R4I Listen from 2:47 to about 4:20. Coolest solo ever!

Good song man...thanks for sharing that one.
I think Led Zepplin has had slightly better guitar solos...but whoever is playing those guitars is really good.

I used to avidly buy and read guitar player magazine, the sound page was always my favorite bit. The sound page was a thin vinyl page with a couple of tracks on it that you could play on your record player. Lots of fantastic guitar playing on those things. Wish I could find them.

"Sixguns flash, hot lead flyin, wonder what it feels like, when they'r dyin?"
"Someday soon might be my turn, IS IT WORTH, THE MONEY EARNED?"

Love the grittiness of that style of rock!!! Way too much overproduced PhooPhoo these days!!!

At the begining of the song he dedicates it to "the man" he was talking about Hendrix.
The song is a tribute to him.

I like green grass/high tides but it gets way to long winded with the lead. Alot of those type bands were like that.
