Title: One Of the Best Guitar Jams
Post by: 68ZooM on September 28, 2009, 01:38:19 PM: I was going Thru some old Vinyl i have and forgot all about this Album i had... It's The Outlaws they were origanally formed in 1972, released this song Green Grass and High Tides in 1975 if I'm not mistaken, (Album's copyright 1975). This song has to be one of the best Muti-Guitar Solo Jams Ive heard for being 34 years old, Ive recorded it and uploaded it some those of you who would like to listen to it.. i do have to say recording it off Vinyl to my computer was fun, its about a 9 Min's 42 sec song, you wont be disappointed and crank it up :rock

I think Led Zepplin has had slightly better guitar solos...but whoever is playing those guitars is really good.

The sound page was a thin vinyl page with a couple of tracks on it that you could play on your record player. Lots of fantastic guitar playing on those things. Wish I could find them.

At the begining of the song he dedicates it to "the man" he was talking about Hendrix.
The song is a tribute to him.

me too. indeed they were.

saw the together with marshall tucker several times. skippers smokehouse was the venue.

that said......THE TIGHTEST guitar band I've ever seen..... Pat Travers...hands down.
