Looks like a nice setup but GOOOD GOLLY MISS MOLLY You boys in the UK are going to get raped on the prices.
£329.99 ex VAT: £286.95

Neat, looks like they cut down on the flashy style like in the X52. Doubt I'll be replacing mine soon though, too pricey.
-
They had to compete somehow....
-
Force sensing? It will need to be secured to something then. I wonder how much if any movement it will have?
-
Looks nice, just not $500+ nice. Being an owner of the X52 and enjoying the experience for some years now I'd like to try that one eventually... just once the price comes down some.

I was looking carefully at this setup, the throttle seemed to have a strange arrangment.
Then I checked a few more sites on it and found that the link provided had the throttle in reverse. :lol
It seemed from the pix that all the controls on the throttle were activated by your pinkie, being that they were on the left of the throttle, then I saw a pic of it setup by a beta tester and much to my delight the throttle was reversed and all the controls were activated by the thumb!
That seemed to make more sense to me,this looks alot like the new logitec stik but somewhat more advanced.
Looks like I'll retire my X52 sooner than I thought.... Oh well it's only money,ya cant take it with ya!

Do tell us about the experience when you take the plunge.

:rofl :rofl :rofl I've been waiting on some reports on the new logitec stik as I was thinking about getting that 1,however now that saitek has a very similar system I have options.... That said I'm in no hurry to rush out and get either stick.
So plz dont hold your breath waiting......... :lol.... if and when I get either stick I'll certainly keep the community informed!!!

I'm just glad that these sticks are starting to come with wall power supplies.
-
Quite interesting stick, but very expensive. The new Logitech g940 is a bit cheaper and it comes with a full rudder pedal set and force feedback. It'll be interesting to see the reviews and comparison reports.

Awww nuts.... I was just getting ready for the review.

I am not so sure about this new Saitek setup. When they mean force sensing that means to me that the stick will not actually move like we are used to with anything else out there. It means it is more like the FSSB mod in a TM Cougar which gauges the amount of force that you exert on the stick with no motion. Great for modern sims but not so good for games like AH and others based on older aircraft.
-
Or is the force sensing just for rudder twist motion?
-
Either way it isn't very good for prop sims. I have tried the FSSB on a Cougar in IL-2 and AH and it just doesn't feel quite right.
To answer your question Have I think it is force sensing in rudder and joystick.
