I think it's greyeagle's last creation. I don't see a blower so maybe not.

I have seen this image in a couple of places around the web, but never a name for it. However, this is my guess. It looks a LOT like a scaled down A7V... the first German tank ever produced. Here is a 3D rendering of one:
And a real life photo:
Now here is the "Mystery Machine":
I think that someone did a DARN GOOD JOB of faking a picture of an A7V to make it look like a one man mini tank. It looks like it has been cut in half, changed the tracks to off road tires, and resized so that it looks like its for one person. Even the side machine guns are still on the mini tank image. I have no idea how they would even fire... much less, how would you aim the main gun and reload it? And I dont think tires like that even existed in WW1. Almost every rivet, panel, and line matches up to the real thing.
Anyway... that is my take on it. Its a very well done, faked photo. Right down to the wrinkles on the paper. If I am wrong, (and I kinda hope I am)... I would LOVE to know what it is. But I have never found anything that names it. Its just TOO close to the design of an A7V for me.

i agree with you on this one!

i agree with you on this one!
LOL... Ok, I have TOO much free time. I took the 3D pic from above
(http://harcourtnews.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/first-german-tank.jpg)
And did this with it in photoshop in less than 30 minutes:
Which is almost DEAD ON to this one:
So not only are you correct WWhiskey... I think I stumbled across the actual picture the artist used to fake it with!

Talk about obscure air frames heheheh :lol
Is that a Thai Boripatra - is so they were home made and only about dozen ever produced. A 2 seater bomber cira late 1920's to 1940. My pic tho is not quite the same - hard to tell - the tail is a little different as are some of the wing spar configuration. - But as they made so few they may have made a few alterations as they built them - Thais are notorious for doing things "their" way.
I just love this sorta stuff - keeps us on our toes - thanx for posting it.
...cheers eh!

Dunno, but it looks like that red circle with the triangle means "SHOOT HERE." Perhaps the flight simulators are down and they're trying to teach new recruits where to find critical hitpoints?
Noticed the side wheels, could it be a Harrier?
-
OMG, f**king harrier? :lol. And is that Jak as your avatar?

After much research, I have found out what this is called:
It is... the Awesomemobile.
Your Welcome :)

I would say a miniaturized "airframe" of a Dornier Alphajet mounted on a motorcycle, though not entirely to scale, and with added "supports".
-
(http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l273/woosle_2006/ThunderKitty.jpg)
P-262 MKI Thunderkitty. It doesn't have the hair dryer in the front, and has .50 cals mounted in the nose, rather than the 30mm cannons, as it would if it were a MKIII.
:rock
If it were the P-262 MKII it would look like this:
-
P-262A Thunderkitty. The numerical designation may be wrong, but the A part is correct, as it doesn't have the hair dryer in the front, and has .50 cals mounted in the nose, rather than the 30mm cannons.
:rock

That isn't the famed ME-262, its the P-262 Thunderkitty... Dont worry, they are easy to confuse, so here are the specs:
The Curtiss P-262 Thunderkitty was produced by integrating stolen, then retrofitted German jet technology into the existing airframe of the P-40 KittyHawk. Substantial hardening of the airframe was required to produce the P-262, and while a 3 engine version was built and flown only as a prototype, the 2 engine version saw over 250 produced, and were assigned to squadron duty in the Pacific theatre starting in February of 1945.
Suprisingly, the P-40 airframe adapted quite well to the jet technology, and was later used as a test plane during testing for the F-86 Sabre
which was based almost completely upon its design.

Bout 40-50 secs between your posts...

Are we really going to play another name that plane/vehicle game? If so, I'll have to go find Cthulhu, OldSport, and some of the others and we'll show you how it's done. :aok
I do miss those days we had fun going on for a few weeks naming obscure aircraft.
