We need it for its historical value, and for scenarios, and because it fills an EW gap, and a gap in the German plane set, and because a LOT of people want it.

Though not a heavy bomber like the 17 or the Lanc it did play an important part in the Blitzkreig. It does carry decent ord but the defense is it weakness. In early war I think it could survive. MW i dont know. IN LW it would be toast unless you came in escorted or undetected. I use the JU-88 alot in as it carries a good bomb load. If you calibrate good enough and are lined correctly You can drop up to four hangars and half a town with what the 88 carries. But I need a nothe rgerman bomber, yes bring the HE-111 to the game.

I'd have to say the Ju290, the Pe-2, and A26 (depending on if you call it a bomber).

You don't see many calls for the Ju290. There have been a lot of calls for the He177A-5 over the years and quite a few uneducated calls for the Fw200 by people who think four engines magically make it a heavy bomber.

I'd say the most common requests for bombers now are the He111, B-29, A-26, Do217 and Tu-2.
