LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!
The fight between Germany and the Soviet Union, the fight other Nations around the world have been waiting for, is coming to an end.  Germany won the first fight, while the Soviets have come back with a win in the second fight.  This third and final fight, one exhibition and 4 rounds, will determine the victor as the WORLD CHAMPION in the World Super Power division.

The times and the place have been set!  This is IT!  This is the fight of the Century!  Two Super Powers will go into the ring for the final time, but only one will come out alive.  The fight between the Fascist and the Communist, the National Socialist vs the Marxist Socialist, Hitler vs Stalin, Krupp Steel vs Red Storm, in the Fury in Germany!

With Germany fighting for survival and the Soviets so close to obtaining glory, for you undecided future scenario pilots, which cause do you wish to fight for, survival or glory?  Choose your destiny wisely for it may be the last great decision you'll ever make!

Soon, the ring of the bell will follow these words;
"For the thousands in attendance and the millions watching around the world, Ladies and Gentlemen, Let's get ready to rummmbbbblllllllllllle!"

 :salute Twizzty

To me, Bruv is already a "dead man".   :D
Ty Kazaa, tis a shame you'll not be around, for your head would've looked great next to Bruv's, in my trophy room.

Our feet are firmly planted into the ground, ready for any onslaught heading our way.  Our part is being prepared, the question remains, who will try to come our way?

With a total of over 200 registered pilots and gv'ers on both sides, all currently preparing for this fight, only <50 positions remain open on the Soviet side.  Who will step up to fight for the Motherland, against the Fatherland?  Who has what it takes to practice hard in your dedicated weapon, with specific tactics as an individual and a group, with players you normally do not fly with?  Who has the experience to lead by example, your men to battle, with victory in your sights?  We want worthy opponents who will "try their best" to provide the Fight of the Century.

Kermit. is there a place I can view the map?

How are you going to work out the heavy german fortifications on the west side of the Oder, and the massive arty/rocket bombardments, and the human wave inf attacks?
And the forced river crossing itself?  Russ assault infantry crossed the river on rafts that they lashed together themselves, like an army of ants...

Just curious?

God I wish I could be in at the death of Russia. But my account got locked due to credit card expiring, and the account was a gift, and I need to wait till Chrismas to play.

Will there be anything like this again, or is this the closing?

Not penniless, just frugal. Also, the German Ju-88s will stand no chance against my comrades and I in our American P-39 Kobras! NO CHANCE!

Also, with Sunday's practice, we discovered that the P-39 DOES stay with 109 K-4s and G-6s, but having La's or Yaks help makes it much easier. Join the Uber P-39s! :rock

Kermit,

Can you list the titles of the songs you used for Rangoon '42.  There is one in there I like but cant identify... sounds like a James Horner track.

Kermit,

Can you list the titles of the songs you used for Rangoon '42.  There is one in there I like but cant identify... sounds like a James Horner track.

I've deleted my project files.  Let me look through my music library.

Rangoon used 2 music tracks:
"There's A Fire Deep In The Hill"  Lifescapes - World Flutes : Anniversary Collection
"Woad to Ruin" - Hans Zimmer in film King Arthur  (Top 3 Greatest film soundtrack ever by one of the greatest movie soundtrack composers)

James Horner is also one of the great movie composers of all time, which I've also used before in the Doolittle Raiders film, but not in Rangoon '42.  :)
I've got nearly 100 songs of Mr Horner in my library, with just as many of Zimmer's work. :)

These sounds are great to listen to on your way to work.  :)
