I actually understand and approve of the no duplicate IP addition to the game. No more shades!!! :x
But.....
Getting ready for FSO just now, we realized it also terminates all father/son teams and neighbors sharing a wireless connection. Both players can no longer log on together.
It might not be such a good idea. We, as well as SWAMPDRAGONS, Dickweed HBG, Arabian Knights, and, and, and...... Well probably many more, but that's all I can think of right now....... all have father/son teams.
Is there anything a father/son team can do to fly together?

Or is it actually just luck of the draw? Right now we have GrnEagle & GrnEgleJr in game.................. :uhoh
I'm so confused.....
:salute
To give a descriptive.... As the 2nd person logged in, the 1st person lost host connection. as 1st person logs back, the 2nd person lost host connection. Hopefully GrnEagle can give us a better descriptive as it was with him and his kid.

I don't think that's the case. We have a couple of sets of cohabiting pilots in our squad and they can play on the same Internet connection. When did this supposedly go into effect?

It never has been that way and it never will be that way.
What you cannot do is share the same account, at the same time. Only one instance, of any given account, is allowed.
If these are individual accounts, then the local router would be suspect.

I forwarded this over, thanks. :salute

Sometimes I pack my PC over to my bro's house and we play on his DSL. Works fine.
