Post by: mna78 on October 03, 2009, 08:31:57 AM
In Windows recorder I can hear meself fine but in game when I tune VOX to myself I get a load of static.  I've updated my drivers and played with the various combinations of setting both in game and in windows but to no effect  :( any ideas?

No guru by any means but it is suggested Sound acceleration be set at 3/4 not full.

Not that it will help sound but you should also get the correct drivers for your monitor.

Thanks, I adjusted that but it had no effect.

One other interesting point is if I turn my mic off and key T I get a beeping recouring sound but without the static...
