This is a general question for all you computer geeks nerds or better yet computer genius's .. I friend of mine told me he just built a new system with twin hard drives, and is claiming to have 8 terabytes of RAM? is this possible or is he blowing smoke up my tailpipe? If he had a system like that wouldn't it be called a server? Your answers would be highly appreciated.

If he just built a Cray supercomputer then theoretically .. well I think even then the answer is no.
I'm sure he meant he has 8 gigabytes of ram. 8 terabytes is a large amount even for harddrive space.

8 Terabytes? Must have built himself one hell of a hyper computing cluster.
Like Ripley said...probably meant Gigabytes.

I want one :x

A lot of people confuse hard drive space with memory.

I want one :x
I'm sure you could build one
:aok
