I didnt get a phone call and from your reaction I assume you got everything installed correctly........ yes Im sure youll be amazed at the difference........ hope you enjoy it :)

Night and day, bro, night and day.  I had a couple minor glitches, but nothing I couldn't overcome.  The 9800GTX was a little too big for my case, had to move a couple of things and "trim" the card down a bit  :uhoh  After I got the card in, I realized that I didn't hook up the DVD drive to the power supply, so I had to fix that before I could install the software.  After that, I went from no detail, to everything on (detailed terrain, water, shadows, and smooth shadows), sliders all the way up, full resolution for my monitor (1680X1050) and 1024 res.  Pegging 60 even low on the water (up from 30s in low detail).  I don't care much for TT, so I didn't really test out any furballs (although would have been the perfect time for it...Hindsight and all  :rolleyes:)

glad to hear it went smoothly........... dont worry bout trimming the card down as long as you didnt cut anything important lol......... people do it all the time

Yea, I had to cut some of the air deflector(?) away, and cut about 1/8" off about 1" of the end.  I was just worrying about it cracking more than anything.

Not a bad price for the combo.  At least I didn't think :lol
