Guys,

I've been messing around with AVA ideas for years. I've thought about making my ideas into Snapshots or Sunday Euro Campaign scenarios.
I think they would work out well in AVA if numbers fill out there. I've given them the name "Legends Series" based on famous units or pilots from WWII.
Also based on historic squadrons that operate in AH II. Some could cover two units with one scenario.
They use less aircraft and have a sharper focus than a normal AVA setup, however they run three frames of two frames of two days each with the last frame running three days.
The examples below are my initial batch mainly focus on units or personalities from the war I'm most familiar with.

Sabouro Sakai

Frame-1 Days 1 and 2 China SE Asia 1939/40

B5N Level Bombers with Formations ON.

Chinese Air Force:
I-16

Focus is the Japanese Naval air attacks on China.

Frame-2 Days 3 and 4 High Tide Lae 1942

Ki-67= G4M sub

USAAF:
P-40E
P-39D
B-25C

Focus is air battles between Lae and Port Moresby New Guinea

Frame- 3 Days 5, 6, and 7. Iwo Hell on Earth 1944.

Focus is the initial air attacks on Iwo Jima in 1944 and Sakai's return to combat.

JG-3 Udet

Frame-1  Days 1 and 2 The Low Countries 1940

P-40B= D.520 Sub

Royal Air Force:
Hurricane MKI

Focus is Luftwaffe's battle to gain control of the air over France Holland and Belgium.

Frame-2 Days 3 and 4 Ramjãger 1944

USAAF:
P-38J
P-47D11/D20
P-51B
B-17G

Focus is the defense of the Reich by II/JG-3 and IV/JG-3

Frame-3 Days 5 6 and 7. The Final Ordeal

RAF:
Tempest

VVS:
LA-7

Focus is JG-3's struggle to battle three different Air Force's in the closing days of WWII.

49th FG The Fighting 49ers.

VF-10 Grim Reapers
VF-17 Jolly Rogers

JG-27 Afrika
Fleet Air Arm
Blue Nosers
353rd FG

I'm also working on RAF, VVS and Italian Air Force ideas.

Every scenario focuses on the subject unit's aircraft and historic campaigns as closely as possible.
Ideally I'd like to see others write scenarios for their own squads.
I thought once I have them polished up they might be worth giving a try in the AVA. Comments or questions welcomed.

The plane sets look good.  Will also need maps and settings.

Yes that would be posted with the actual setup. This was just the basic idea for people to chew on and give their opinions.

I don't think B5Ns can have formations? I could be wrong though..

You may be right, it seems I've seen formations turned on for B5Ns way in the past but I could be mistaken.

formations are only enabled with carpet-bombers. Never been an option for navy planes.
