Changes from previous release
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Added the P-47M. Special thanks to Greebo for providing the skin that allowed us to sneak this into this version.


Changed ground vehicle damage scoring to greatly reduce the effect of tread damage in determining who gets credit for the kill.


Changed plane damage scoring so that any further damage that is done after a critical component is destroyed is not counted towards the scoring of the kill and assists. Critical components are as follows: complete (not partial) wing loss on one side, loss of all horizontal stabilizers, loss of all vertical stabilizers, loss of rear fuselage, and fuel fires.


Fuel fire damage progresses much quicker now. It used to take 10-60 seconds to progress, it now takes 3-9 seconds.


Stick lockouts from rapid control movement no longer take place at low speed down around your plane's 1G stall speed. They also no longer occur from gunner positions.


Gunners can now join pilots before they are inflight and automatically attach when the pilot starts flight.


Gunners now correctly detach from the pilot when the pilot discos. When the pilot bails, the gunner also bails now.


Fixed P-38L and P-47-D40 rockets that were remaining after the wing was destroyed.


Changed the color of the hangar ordnance selection marker and listing from green to white.


Fixed a one way polygon in the front canopy frame of the P-51D.


Wgr 21 rockets now show an explosion when they hit the ground.


The 5" dual mounts on the cruiser now fire HE rounds correctly.


Changed the material properties of ships to make them appear a little brighter.


Made some cosmetic improvements to the low LOD ship models(the simpler shape that you see when you are far away from it).


Kills messages in offline missions now show again and now increment correctly.


Fixed a phantom polygon in the tail of the B5N when it was destroyed.


Fixed an error in the landing gear shadow of the Tempest.


Fixed a bullet hole error in the cockpit glass of the P-51.


Fixed some shadow issues on the M8 and Firefly.


Fixed a Z fighting error on the rear deck of the cruiser.


P-47D-40 and P47N rockets no longer cycle twice when selecting your secondary weapon.

Experienced last case of kill stealing last night. :)

Kill stealing has been a pet peewe of mine for years...and now it ends. :)

I d think that perhaps the fuel fire could have been left out as a zero for example can be a real risk for quite a long time after it has ignited.

EDIT/ Damn, I shoulda read a bit further! :) : Fuel fire damage progresses much quicker now. It used to take 10-60 seconds to progress, it now takes 3-9 seconds./EDIT

Yup nice looking bird but it does not fill requirements for scenarios. I do appreciate the hard work that the folks at HT put in though.

Hmmm, what does this mean exactly?  Just got an M on fire, it burned for a good 2-3 minutes and then ditched...

It disables the DMYCSR at around your particular planes stall speed. It turns on at around 150ish, AFAIK. Besides, how does one "stick stir" while also dragging your Corsair over the top of your zoom after she was left up there for a second too long?

Suddenly reminded of the introduction of the Spixteen...of course EVERYONE had to try it, and they'd misplaced a zero, making the wings 1/10th the strength they should have been. All you had to do was get a Spixteen to turn with you (hard, right?) and you'd get an immediate Lawn Dart Proxie.
