One thing to try, go through Device Manager and bring up the properties, go to Power Management and makes sure the "Allow Computer To Turn of this Device...." is unselected. Sometimes it can cause an issue.

I did a speed test to Austin...163ms...same for Houston...SF was 27ms...Atlanta was75.

Must have been the Pittsburgh game messing things up.

It happen to me also and I had just done a ping test with no issues on Comcast, seems to be a clean connection, I also had Ventrillo running and never lost connection with it.

I got discoed again today it appears it is happening when the arena fills up and somebody else logs in it kicks somebody off to make room.  When I got discoed I immediately tried to get back in and the areana was full.   This makes 5 times this month that this has happened and each time when I get back on the arena is full each time, so it must be something with the server doing it.  my ping runs 78-110 on AT&T/.

Login times are getting longer and longer so I was thinking Skuzzy must be working on something or using the cable for a banjo string...

He will get it worked out.

considering the time you posted this was after HTC office is closed you might be over acting here. wait till they are open to give them a chance to look at this post. you might want to try and post a DxDiag report so skuzzy can look at it when he logs on tomorrow. next thing you might want to do is post a PinPlotter for him to look at too.

if your new computer uses vista you might want to read the vista post that is stickied on the top of this forum.

Im gettin em now to....

Host connection lost..relog...try to move to a base...host connection lost again.

Over and over til finally I get in....hour or 2 later....lost agin and same thing.

Think maybe it's time to go back to racing for a while.

Some Ping Plot data would be helpful, just to see if it is Internet related.  Just do it immediately after a disco and be sure to let Ping Plot run for a minute or two.

The server does not kick anyone off to make room for anyone.  The Ping Plot data would be useful to have.

Please review this (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,68316.0.html).

EDIT: I merged the four threads into one as the same people were posting in all fours threads.  This just makes it more difficult to get any help to anyone when the threads are all over the place with the same people posting in all of them.
