I would guess one of two:
B-29
or
He 177A-3/R5 :-) (well, ya wanted a jabo didn't ya :-)
Did you know that the B-29 could carry two of the Brit 22,000 bombs? He he, think of a two plane strike.
Airfield, what airfield

There really are only one or two other bomber designs that might be considered Perk Bombers other than the Arado 234 jet bomber.
The B-29
And maybe the A-26 Havoc, though it might not be THAT uber to be a perk.
The 177 Grief isn't perk bomber. Its performance specifications (how fast, how much payload, how high), isn't much better or worse than a B-17.
Planes get perked because they are good, not because they were rare.
Hans.

Yep, I think B-29 is next and the most important perk bomber. A-26 has some potantial but I dont know if it has enough to be a perk.
Of course you should remember that any plane can become perk plane, even if it has not been designed as such from beginning.

A26 was an attack plane not a buff (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
It may be a cheap perk though, that thing does rule and might make the B26 and any other jabo plane be mothballed.

Its no better than a lancaster and you want to perk it?!
Typical (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Expensive perk: Ar234
Expensive perk: B-29A
Cheap perk: Mosquito B.MkIX
Cheap perk: Tu-2
IMHO, at least.

RAM, I said:

Take a look at the 3/R5 part. The flying (well sorta) 75mm A.T. gun. That shook itself
> apart when used.
That and the ":-)" was to let you know that it is a joke.
That ties in with the "jabo" part.
I will try to remember to put a ":-) !!!" to mean "it's a JOKE, Damm it!" in the future.

The most likley, but the B-32 Dominator might be the oddball Perk.

A damm good aircraft, but not a perk, at least not a high priced one.

That was a joke, see the history of the -3/R5

So when do we get "ANTI-PERK"(tm) rides. Like the Me 210, FIAT G.50, FIAT B.R.20, the
Armstrong Whitworth Whitley, Vickers Wellesly, Douglas TBD-1 Devastator,... :-)
The ones they pay us to fly :-)

I want both the B-29 and the A-26B-66-DL. HTC, pay careful note to the -66-DL! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) That is the best version to serve in WWII. I would think that it could be a really cheap perk; one that you can use, but not so indiscriminantly (furball, etc.).

You mean like a C.202? The kind of aircraft that give you x5 the ammout of perk points than a F4U-1C?
Something like that?

Ok, I will. Let me just hit that handy link you included in your post...oh, wait.

Think of flight specs of a C.202 with 55mph less speed, slower climb, less range, slower
roll, and a Butt Ugly airframe. FIAT G.50
A plane so bad, they call you at home to fly it. That bad :-)

Darn, I thought that people still read books. Those off line things.
Old style "link"(OSL) follows:
...the He.177-A/R5, or Stalingradtyp, was evolved, this having a 75mm BK7.5 cannon
installed in the gondola, and DB 610 engines installed instead of the standard DB606s.
Only five machines of this type were completed, however, as the firing of the
cannon severely strained the structure and it's installation adversely affected the
flying characteristics.
From The Warplanes of the Third Reich, William Green, pp343.
Sort of like asking for a XB-40 or BQ-7 instead of a B-17. No link.
