this was a little extract from 'veiw from the cockpit'

'The Me.410 was not as well liked among the Zerstorer crews as the old Bf.110, despite its greater speed, (about 80km/hr more than the Bf.110), since it turned worse, was far more sensitive to hits, and was hard to bail out of if it burned.'

hmmm Bring the Bf.110 to AH  :D hehe

Nahhhhh !  ;)

I STILL want the Me410.

More interesting armament options, and its much faster which = surviveability in the MA.  I'm just going from memory, but I think the Me410 had a top speed of around 395-400mph, but I don't know what its deck speed was.

Turning a twin engined fighter? Yah gotta be nuts to try to turn one of those in the first place  ;) You swoop out of the sun at 500mph and blow the enemy to little pieces of aluminum junk, with all those cannnons!!

Bail Out? Whats that  :p

'The Me410  with the 5cm (BK 5) was likewise very nose heavy and bad in any turning combat.It did have the advantage that it could be effectively fired from a range of 1000 yards with the telescopic sight (Zielfernrohr 4)and one hit usually brought about a victory.Gunnery with the telescopic sight required much practice, however, plus neat flying, and a long period of time in the shooting position'

swoop out of the sun line up on the bombers and bam dead by rear gunners laser guns, 1 ping takes wing off at 1.4  :D

i agree the me410 sounds like a better plane but I posted this to show that it might not necessarily  be as good as you would think.
Obviously the loadouts would be much better for jabo.In honesty I would take either models as long as they are LATE varients.My guess is they will give us the bf.110 from the BoB so we have to fly another 1940s attack plane in MA  :p

The Me410 isnt so bad it sure surprised some P61 crews, because they couldn't catch it in a dive. Against single seat fighters it doesnt hold up so well, but it was a good heavy fighter.

geez, I can't believe the He-219 isn't even mentioned!  It's fast, and highly lethal for a twin engined fighter.  30mm and 20mm combination package of guns!  :D
