I have an old set of CH pedals and have to use a usb adaptor. Now for the problem. When I set them up in the control mapping. it shows that it reads the pedals by the numbers moving, but when i calibrate the stick, and fly the rudders dont work, and have to go back tp the twist. I had ordered a new pair of Siatek pedals. but would like to see why my old ones wont work
system
pentium quad cors (2)

Questions:
1) Can you open the "Game Controllers" screen in windows control panel, and "test" the device?
2) Does the slider move up and down when you move the pedals? Does it ONLY move when you move the pedals?
3) Have you gone into AH and UNMAPPED your twisty axis (set to "none") and then MAPPED the other device to the rudder?
You can press the pedals and see which numbers go up or down with your input, when you select your pedals device in AH's mapping screen. This way you know to select the proper axis, then apply the "rudder" control to it.

I tried all of that, and still have to go back to twist stick, also i have been usng the same setup for years, this started after the first flight in a new computer, it worked fine, then the pedals just stopped

Dig,
Start AH, go to offline>>bring up map>>options>>controls>>map controllers>>select controller>>scroll to usb>>select z rotation>>then click calibrate>>do what it say.do what it say.>>then try to fly. You will have to repeat for Vehicles.

Don't forget when calibrating in AH you have to return the axis to its center point (kind of annoying because on my throttle quad there is no center detent)

FYI, you only need to let go of the stick and pedals and they'll naturally move to center point. You do not need to do it for the throttle.
