Ok as an Australian I think this would be an awesome addition for EW Arena's and DA matches.
This aircraft with its minimal airframe and enormous engine plus the fact that it carries the same amount of firepower as Mid and Late war spits. This thing could challenge the Hurri in Turn and the Zero in firepower and speed.
It does not seem fast but with that Power to Weight and some height this thing could be a deadly aircraft to come across.
And of course a very patriotic Australian cannot say no to this. (Americans it was loosely based on the T-6 Texan so give some support here ;)

( Ok I know it has been requested, but seriously I might even keep bumping this just so HiTech will get in on it. Because the population of AH is American,British then Aussie then other European countries and so on) And seeing as we have Italian and English and TONS of American and German. Its time we had a colonial invention in here to kick arse and take some rather interesting names........ SHawk and Wideload for example >:)

all for this . Have you got any combat history / reports etc.
The Beaufighter and this should keep the RAAF happy ;)

Unfortunately there were very few combats in the air.
However as a CAP aircraft and defensive fighter it was brilliant. It has accounted for many ground kills and a smattering of AtoA kills. Only 250 were built but we have aircraft and GV's with less examples.
At low level this Aircraft was fast and a mofo of a turner. A combat for the Zeke finally.
Its comparison tests put it on Par with early mustangs, thunderbolts and Spit 5c's. Thats enough in itself to warrant this aircraft.
The boomerang was fitted with superchargers and went like all hell. only problem was that its production was crowded out. With the super charger the top speed could reach 350 MPH!!!. in short PLEASE

If this correct not a lot of air combat mostly ground attack.

Almost sounds like we have a Stuka siren on it.

Sadly only the prototype was fitted with the 'charger. Otherwise, this would have been a very fun plane.
