Title: Mission Editor stopped working

I've tried downloading the mission editor several times but when I go to open it I get a "mission editor has stopped working" message.

Can't figure it out. I use Vista and also tried downloading as administrator like when I download new patches for the game......

Here is the message I got when I tried to open it:

I can't seem to open the downloaded missions either. I have some saved in the file but they don't show up in the offline missions or, practice missions

are you downloading it into the same directory as the game?if not that may be the problem.also with vista its best not to have the game in "program files".
try downloading it all into C:\ instead.
htc homepage has the lastest version with the patches,so if youve downloaded it from somewhere other than there that could be your problem.

I've got it all in C.
But no luck.

Earlier this summer I was able to get in to the editor in the "older version."

Maybe when the convention is over one of the guru's at HiTech will have an idea.........

have you tried uninstalling it first brfore re-downloading it,if not you could have a corrupted file causing the crash.

There's no version number there.  It reads 0.00.  Could you tell us where you are downloading it from?  Post a link to the thread if possible.  You might just be downloading an older version not compatible with the new AH version.  Just a guess.

I tried downloading it from the content downloads on this site.
Same page that talks about skins......

Hmm, that's the latest version.  Unless it's installing somewhere other than your AH folder, I really don't know.  I've never seen anyone post that error before.  Might want to post this in the Bug Reports forum.  Hopefully it's something simple.
