This means nothing, to early in the season to tell who's the best with Undefeated teams falling weekly, AP poll is a joke a 3-3 team makes top 25?, why not this one. Still think they need a better playoff system to determan who's really the Champs. Maybe something similar to the NFL.

I agree with you on the playoff system.  Div II and III has it.

BCS = Bull Crap Series...

A playoff setup is badly needed.

Iowa should be ahead of BSU and Cincy.   Alabama will alone on the Top soon.   The AP poll got it right.

Arizona lost to Iowa and Washington. They do have (arguably) the best defensive secondary in the country. At the time Iowa played them their running back was the second leading rusher in the country. Enough for a 22 ranking?

If a team can be ranked in the top five playing teams like Cal-Davis, Louisanna Tech, Bowling Green why not have Arizona in the top 25.

You made a good point.  I did not realized that UoA defensive is that good.  By next week, i am sure Iowa will past BSU and Cin to the #3 spot.

Not a Gator or hurr fan?

Yes, i am a buckeye fan.  Time they do something with Jim T.  Will not be surprise PSU and Iowa beating them.

I am enjoying BSU statues. Still a strong program.

Season long way from being over. Sensible Hawkeye fans are more concerned about Michigan State than any national implications.

:salute Oakranger for admitting he's a OSU fan when they are down.

There is no shame for being a fan of a team that choke in a lot of games.  Every team has its ups and downs.

A pass bouncing off a players foot right into the arms of a Washington defender is the only thing keeping them from being 5-1 with the one loss being to 7-0 Iowa.

Arizona lost to Iowa and Washington. They do have (arguably) the best defensive secondary in the country. At the time Iowa played them their running back was the second leading rusher in the country.

And a first year starting sophmore QB with a 74% completion ratio.

I'm liking the future, Sun Devil. See ya in December.

You're thinking of ASU. Talk to Pannono

Just wait.  By the end of the season before the bowl games, you will see 4 teams in the big 10 that will be rank.

Again.   I hate Michigan.   Only teams I'd root for would be Central or any other underdog Michigan team, but not the wolverines.

I don't have a personalized picture of Phillip Fulmer over my desk for nothing.    I'm a Tennessee Volunteers fan.   I piss people off because I am unbiased, objective and call it like I see it.

The only NCAA teams I loathe:   Michigan, Any Florida team, except USF.   Penn State, Notre Dame (but they were screwed over against Michigan) and Syracuse.

If I go to Dayton next year and Betty leaves her U of M chair unsupervised, it's going into the fire.   I've told her this many times and other attendees.   The President of the Univ. is a POS and their fans are some of the biggest crybabies you'll ever hear on the radio.   It is comical at times and you have to pull off to the side of the road to wipe the tears away, to drive safely again.

Always been a huge fan of Iowa going back to the early 80s when Chuck Long was taking snaps and ole Hayden was coach.  Those were some good days.  Course now they look just as good.

Huhhhh....Texas holds the #3 spot.....Iowa won't pass Texas unless Texas loses....it's possible Texas could lose...but not likely.

Florida and Bama meet in SEC championship....1 loses and the other plays the #3 team( at the time of the SEC Game) for National championship.

Texas holds it's own destiny. Pollsters will vault USC ahead of everyone if they get a chance even tho they lost to an unranked Washington team who broke a 20 plus game losing streak by beating USC. (pollsters love USC like a hooker loves payday)

Boise State...(if they win out) will be a bridesmaid again....Iowa (if they win out) will be on the outside looking in as well.....

USC will stroll in....with a loss and kick Iowa to the curb with no losses.

I hope not. Iowa is 8-0 and that's hard to argue with.
What does their strength of schedule look like?

Arizona, up to #20 :rock

Arizona has one of the toughest schedules in the country. A well deserved ranking IMO, just not sure if were ready for it yet.

I'm proud of how The Vols played Bama.   Just as good as a win IMO.   Lane and Monte seem to have started getting the hang of it.   I cannot wait to see what they're recruiting is like, but it should improve.
