Installation Instructions:
1. The file is .rar, just download and extract to your destop.
2. Bring up your Aces High 2 folder and go into your settings ( or you can bypass that and type in C:\HTC\Aces High II\settings\ )
3. Extract the "109e4.cfg, 109g6.cfg, 109g2.cfg" directly into the settings folder, overwrite the current ones.
4. Extract all other ".pwl" and ".hps" files into "C:\HTC\Aces High II\settings\planes\" overwrite those as well.
5. Log in and notice the difference!
Hope this helps all of you 109 pilots.
Edit: Let me know if you're having any problems or conflicts.

Just a quick FYI:
The raised gunsight is what I use to get a bit more over the nose view when deflecting shooting. It helps tremendously and I highly recommend raising your gunsight in any of the 109 variants for that extra bit of visibility when shooting over your nose.

I went ahead and took pictures of my entire cockpit in my 109 to better help those who have trouble viewing out of it. It's not at all hard to see out of the 109 if you set them similar to what I have displayed below:

Heya MjTalon, a suggestion of a possible better way, might be to go into your settings folder and save all of your 109 plane files ( example: 109e4.hps & 109e4.pwl )
can find these in the C:\HTC\Aces High II\settings\planes\ or C:\hitech creations\Aces High II\settings\planes\ location
zip or winrar them as a package and host them on your website........ this will give 109 flyers the ability to download and unzip and extract them into their own game installation without having to go through and manually set & save each individual view for each 109 plane type.....
just a thought....... :salute

Willco TC, that sounds much better. Will get right to it, thank you sir.

Thats pretty much the same as my views except I keep the rear view straight rather than off to the side I use the arrow keys in game to look further round my tail and if its set off to one side it takes a lot longer to get to the opposite side for a peek.
Also have my front view zoomed a good bit in so I can only see the top of my speedo I find sitting back like that a lot can hide in the bars and the forward hat snaps my view out so I can see ammo etc.
I never really had a problem with views on any of the aircraft in game apart from the look up for F4Us can never get rid of that bloody overhang  :D

Like pervert, I also have my forward view a little closer so I don't see the top canopy bar.

Use the up arrow key.

Gav, you've always wondered how the hell I shoot zoomed in like I'm looking into a magnifying glass. :lol :lol

Sill do. ;) I think it's the film viewer that wasn't truly representing your zoom factor.

That look behind view is so gamey.

How so Kazaa? I'm pretty sure there's a hand full of 109 sticks that have the exact same view if not slightly closer.

In any plane I have normal forward view.
If enemy is under the nose, I use the "force", shoot, and hit. :aok

I have tried that tried page up down in out and it never leaves!! :lol

No, not page and page down, the up arrow key.

Just thinking its actually the up and back button view that I was talking about :rock

That's about what my views are set at. All of my side/side-up etc views are moved around just enough to hardly show any (if any) support bar. Of course I haven't flown since any of these updates so I'll have to reset all my views...heh

Flying the hog mostly I use a combination of both arrow key up and page up keys for setting view up past the headcover. But that is for setting the view straight up without having to see the headcover. For behind and up view the cover will show a little, but I zoom it way back and page up before F10 that one..
And I also got a whole setting of rear views using my hat switch plus two of the buttons, so I got rear view set straight back along the right side + left back/right back/left back up/right back up and straight back and up. And all zoomed out past the headcover.. So I got my 6 covered at all times! :aok
The hog is one of the worst planes to set views in, but the way I have it set it was just a short period of getting used to the button config I made.
But it makes me able to look all around and up at the same time as I look around. If I want to look up to the right I just look right with the hat and press the button behind the hat at the same time to look slightly up. ;)
I use the logitech freedom 2,4 cordless stick, and this stick has 4 buttons around the hat. The two buttons behind the hat are the ones I use for rear view, and up view. And combine both buttons means rear/up. (Very useful when someone creeping in on your 6 while in a loop.)
And I found that these settings work for all the planes in the game, including the 109.
The other two buttons I use to change internal and external views with..
