Title: 109 trivia II
Post by: Jimdandy on February 01, 2001, 12:51:00 PM
What engine was the original prototype 109 designed to have installed in it. It was actually rated lower in horse power than the Rolls-Royce Kestrel that was first installed. The Kestrel was rated at 695hp. It was installed in the next prototype.

Yep it was the Ju210. The Metro engine didn't appear until later in the war in the long range models.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
