Heres another Fokker plane that was developed in the 30's this and the D.XXI were some of the last planes made by the fokker company before the onset of ww2. Again not a really high performer but could add some spice in the EW arenas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fokker_G.I (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fokker_G.I)

Doesn't look like the production numbers were significant enough...wasn't a contributing factor in the war for any country...looks like it was just a good place to store bullets.

the p47m only had 130 planes built!

Yeah...I know... :( ...makes you wonder sometimes don't it? Still...this one had zero contributions to the war effort aside from target drone.
Let me re-phrase...there are other planes with much more usefulness than this one missing from the current lineup and even though this one is "pretty"...people would like to see the other planes before something like this.

It is actually an intriguing aircraft, but I doubt you'll find ANY performance data on it. It seems like a plane that never got a fair shake.
-
Actually it did contribute to the war but as a trainer aircraft for Bf110 pilots.

The Dutch used them in combat in the opening days of the Battle of the Netherlands (also known as the "5 Day War"). The Dutch had 2 squadrons equipped with the G.I, 23 planes total. On the opening day, 4th JAVA lost all but one G.I from a German bombing attack while 3rd JAVA was able to get a couple up in time to meet the attack and shot down a couple of He 111's. By the end of the first day, most of the G.Is had been destroyed and only around 3 were able to fly. The Dutch then confiscated the ones that were being made for the Spanish and Finns, outfitted these with guns and used them in the ground attack role strafing German infantry and intercepting Ju 52s. The G.Is had 14 confirmed kills when the Battle for the Netherlands ended.

According to 'Fighters: Volume Three (Warplanes of the Second World War)' by William Green there were several captured examples held by the Germans and others completed at the Danish factory by Mid-1941 and thereafter used as trainers for the Bf110 units until attrition wore them to nothing. The discussion of the G1 was paraphrased also in 'Flying Review International' April 1967 where the same author repeated the claim.

The Finns did try out the G.1 but never bought any.

Yep. The ones that were completed in 1941 were the G.Is that were ordered by the Finns and Dutch in 1939. The Germans already had several G.Is they had captured from the Dutch during the Battle of the Netherlands. In any event, the G.I did see combat, limited for sure but combat none the less.

Like I said before, Finns did not order G.I. At first, Fokker tried to market G.I to the FiAF but they weren't interested. When Winter War broke out Finns wanted to buy them but as Fokker said they weren't able to deliver them as fast as FiAF would have liked no order was made.

Ok so a few managed to take off under attack...then get shot down...or captured...even then it had low production numbers by any standard... :headscratch:
Again "target drone".

did somebody just read something on wikipedia and rewrote it changing words' order?

It's an early war plane and for the EW plane set, a good addition.

No it's not...doesn't meet the qualifications. Digging around for obscure aircraft while more significant planes are missing from the current set is a waste of time and effort.

1. Served in Sqaudron Strength
2. Saw Combat and with confirmed Kills.
Seems like it made the criteria just!
Edit: Not sure if the last part of 2. is a definete criteria.
