Great, except I don't think many Americans sound like that. Definitely not Texans.
But keep workin on your accent. Make your character a hardcore hick/redneck, easier to impersonate a redneck. Just slow your speech down, and slur it. And add "y" to words like "get" so it's like "gyit"
