The only thing making it "un-American" is the lack of cheese, specifically in that each patty does not have a corresponding slice of cheese.   :furious

In Japan they probably don't have the obesity problem that we have here, so something like that is more marketable.

Hell, it's not even Kentucky Fried Chicken any more, just KFC.

My great uncle called it Kentucky Flyin' Chikens, that old man was worth more than every penny.

It's certainly American in the sense that it's a big sh*t sandwich and everyone's going to have to take a bite.

That is, if you consider current policy American.

This poster seen above, is  made out of an original one, where you see in the plate a steak and some vegetables, and in the hand of the guy a glass of vodka and not a burger.

That was a soviet propaganda in order to push the Russians to calm down on the vodka, HET! meaning NIET! (NO!)

I don't doubt that. After all, the problems typical of Soviet communism were poverty, alcoholism, hopelessness, and a declining populace - not the elective overindulgence deemed desirable by many of my compatriots.

Perhaps you could publish your source, though, rather than asking us to rely on the credibility of your good name.

That's technically true. However, the pop. growth rate declined throughout the history of the USSR. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_the_Soviet_Union

You could say that the current dismal outlook just continued the trend. On the upside for any lovers of communism, it can at least be argued that, while communism may correlate well with poverty, backwardness, a lack of property rights, oppression (at least for those who dare say no to collectivism), and a complete lack of profit motive incentives, it does NOT appear to foment the severe demographic problems faced by (wait a minute...) all the socialist nations of the Eu.

Either way, I don't think it's causal since, by the mass, greater Islam doesn't exactly have a booming free enterprise system either (though it's less collectivized, in many cases, than the socialistic nations of the West) - and they're pumping 'em out at a rate sufficient to engulf Russia and Europe besides.

There are confounding factors at play, imj - the bulk of which are religious/cultural.
