I remember reading somewhere that 190s were able to deploy flaps at speeds much higher than it is right now available.
Funked, anyone ?
Also, does 190 enjoy any advantage of a simulated Komandogerat ? IMO, no.
Any ideas how some real advantages of 190, like ammo counters and Komandogerat can be simulated in AH ?

I've cried for realistic ammo counters for a long time
For a hardcore sim, it is VERY odd to have ammo counters.
I seriously hope HTC will change it, but I doubt it as it means redesigning the cockpit somewhat.
But, please HTC, do it. Even EAW had it.

About the flaps I have a book somewhere with fotocopies of the A1 manual stating that the (electical operated) flaps could be operated from 290 km/h - much as in AH.
That dosent meen of course that this value couldnt be higher in later models, but I simply havnt been able to find any values at all, allthough I have looked specifically for this.
I first saw this idea postulated by wulfie (wb) as a fact some years ago, but I cant recall anyone quoting sources.

Eric Brown says the pilot's notes recommend reducing speed below 250 km/h before deploying flaps 10 degrees. For some reason, he lowered 10 degrees at 270 km/h.

What Danish and Wells said.
Kurt Tank said 250 km/h for flaps in a description of a flight he made. He didn't say this was the maximum speed, he just said that was the speed when he deployed them.
The engine controls in the game right now are pretty similar to the Kommandogerat. Actually the AH controls give more flexibility of operation. With the real Kommandogerat, the pilot could not control RPM and throttle independently.

But he could control the propeller pitch, funked (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) and the general effects would be the same than reducing RPM isnt it? (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
