Title: KI61 drone died on landing

I threw my gear down at about 160mph and the drones went into landing formation...however they slowed down really fast and the last drone was lost because it got too far away.
Do I need to wait until about 120 to throw gear down?

I don't think this is really a bug. If a bomber drone is low altitude and you lower the gear it does its landing routine. I don't believe they wait until they get to the runway.
And don't you really mean Ki-67?  :)

Well the drones didnt hit anything, but when I lowered my gear they went into landing formation behind me...but when they did that they slowed down to what im guessing 100mph right away and the last drone ended up too far from me and dissapeared.

I just replicated it for film, put gear down at 150mph and I lose a drone.

That was a good spot to drop gear and lined up for landing and all so it must be a bug.

Seeing the one drone did make it and landed while the third did not I suppose you got something. Personally I drop my gear when the lead ship just crossed the end of the runway.
Film was a good idea in this case.
