i just want to know what a brum is?
is it like a burm?

Brum is where the "yow am's" come from.
Burn is a dip in the ground for tanks.
Grove is Brum accent for groove.
"Yow am grovey yow am"
:bolt:

I preferred it when we had both. I had an absolutely epic Tiger battle with the LTARs back before the damn Firefly showed up, stuck behind one of those berms(yeesh) next to a forest. Ended up actually running one of them out of perks with 20+ kills. My heart nearly gave out. Owed it all to having JoeDog31 in the air giving me sitreps.
-
I'd prefer to have both berms and groves.
I don't think the new graphics code precludes the return of berms; the maproom, ditches next to roads, and approaches to bridges are still there. Perhaps they chose to remove the many berms to keep fps up or perhaps they would look weird as they wouldn't match the new terrain textures?
-
They removed them [possibly by accident or scaling issues] during the terrain conversions. They have plans to put them back as time permits.
