When selecting "quit" from the initial game clipboard. Have to kill the program with task manager.
Have tried re-installing 2.16, and also running it in Win XP SP3 and Vista compatibility modes with same result. Used 2.15 and Win 7 without a problem...

What about alt f4?
-
Thanks for responding, Pyro.
Just tried it and Alt-F4 works like a charm. Then I double-checked selecting "Quit" from the initial clipboard and it still hangs.
Alt-F4 seems like an acceptable workaround tho. Any other Windows 7 users having problems?
After I submit this last batch of P-38L skins I've been working on, I intend to back everything up and try uninstalling anf then re-installing.

Win7 and Ah works fine for me. just got to get a work around for my need
of a gameport for my stick.

I have windows7 ultimate installed and I have not run into this at all. Do you think it could be because of your memory??
-
im using win7 pro and do not have this problem. quit and alt + f4 work fine 4 me.

Since no one else is experiencing this, I wonder now if it has to do with the drivers for the Logitech G940 control set I recently got - installed the latest version of AH and the new controls at the same time.
-
This is apparently a problem with the G940. After some light usage of the G940, the rudder axes and tow brakes started spiking wildly. So I dug out the old TM stuff, and now I can exit AH without hanging.

Odd...I'm having this same issue all of a sudden, just the last few days I've played. Running XP here

i ahve the same problem when quitting the game with win7 it crashes about 30% of the time. I started using altf4 to avoid it.
