Post by: Vphenix on September 21, 2001, 04:26:00 PM
I'd love to se the Heinkel 111, the ju87 stuka, ju52 and the Dornier Do17

Anyone else?

Yup... I'm sure they'll model them all at some point but AH tends to lean towards later war aircraft.  Out of the list you mentioned I can see the JU87 being done first and then perhaps the JU52.  Although I personally like the He111 and Do17, I honestly can't see these being done for quite a considerable amount of time, unless early war priority is given (I hope!).

I would to, but it would be nice if the Germans had a "44" heavy ftr or buff first, Me 410 or a He 177.

How about the FW Condor. This plane had a fair bombload, and also great altitude?

Yeah but the Condor also suffered from a weak fusilage. More than one snapped in half landing. I'd vote for the He-111, over the Do-17, the latter wasn't a very good bomber, it suffered high losses in the BoB. Of course the Ju-87 Stuka in both dive-bomber and tank-buster forms should take priority. If they are interested in Battle of Britain scenarios then a Bf-109e would be needed.

These early war planes won't be used much until they implement a rolling plane set in the MA. This I think would get more pilots out of the uber planes and into other, equally interesting aircraft. The P-40 in various marks are noticable by their absence (the b and d are really the only ones to consider) as are the Japanese Val divebomber, Betty medium bomber and Nate torpedo-bomber.

Until the MA gets an RPS, my vote will place the He-177 A-5 first on the priority list, and the Me-410 B-2 second on the priority list.
