(It is a machine Japanese-English translation. )
The game is limping.
If I do very, am I good?
●It comes at intervals of two seconds when starting off-line and AcesHigh online the departure once.
●Some were strange from the version of previous AcesHigh.
------------------------
System info:
PentiumD 3GHz
Intel 945P/G
Memory 4GB
Leadtek WinFast GTS250 (before ASUS EN7800GT SILENT)
SoundBlaster XtremeGamer (before on-board sound-chip)
I do not improve the game still though I was waiting thinking that AcesHigh loads something.
Even if the video card and the sound card are newly bought, it is strange.
As for the latest one, the driver of the chipset, the video card, and the sound card is strange.
There was no problem in the directx diagnosis tool now.
I uninstall, and even as for the initial state of the configuration file in the setting folder, the game is strange.
Even if acceralation of the sound card is lowered, it is strange.
Even when TrackIR5 is not started, it is strange.
●When BampMapping of the VideoAdvance setting or DetailedTerrein is done in on/off, it is temporarily repaired.
(Still, though it ..departure.. comes slightly once every tens of seconds only momentarily. )
●I cannot play straight if I do not do so whenever the game is started up.
It moves in other other game , for instance,
Call of Duty2
Call of Duty4
Arma2 demo
Microsoft FlightSimulator X demo
Other 3D games without trouble.
How do I come to be able to play even if on/off is not done?

as far as i can tell, i think hes talking about variance spikes. Sounds like it at least.

My guess is that there's a stuttering problem (The game is limping), and Toki suspects the problem is when AH is trying to load stuff into memory?
"It comes at intervals of two seconds when starting offline, and AcesHigh online the departure once."
The first part of the sentence sounds to me like the game is stuttering every two seconds when playing in offline mode, and the second half perhaps means it happens every one second (once) after takeoff (departure)?
Video card is a GTS250 so should be ok there. Good on amount of memory. Processor should be enough I assume?
My impression of the machine translation : Problem still appears to happen even after buying a new sound and video card, new drivers for the chipset.... DXDiag showed no errors. Uninstalled AH even removing the settings folder, on stock settings after re-installed problem exists. Even when Sound Card Hardware Accel is turned off in DXDiag and TrackIR not started problems occur.
When going into the settings, turning bumpmapping on / off or detailed terrain on / off temporarily fixes the issue.
Toki : Please run DXDIAG and click "Save all information". Then copy and paste the 1st 1/3rd here. Thank you!

Two possible problems right off the bat:
1. Background processes
2. Soundblaster Xtremegamer
-
The reproduction sound of the game doesn't have the trouble.
The Video screen of the game comes ..passing of every two seconds...
- It hears of the access sound from matters of weight with the addition and the inside of my PC to the hard disk.
(other 3D games have non trouble.)
The process of the backing ground is turned off as much as possible.
The Norton Internet security is made silent mode, Auto-protect even is turned off, and the game is strange.
Even if Skype is ended, the game is strange.
The game was strange before SoundBlaster was used.
The game was strange though only mother-on-board-soundchip "SoundMAX Digital Audio" was used before.
In a word, SoundBlaster is unrelated to the problem of the game. I think...
If video advance setting is done in on/off, the game operates normally to play a game. it is not a fatal tentatively bug.
This problem continues for a long time as long as on/off is not done.
The game operates normally in the state of on and the state of off if on/off is done.
No do be known of the bug of the game that might be a peculiar problem of my PC it either.
I tentatively worry about the little bit ..AcesHigh.. however ..can play.. by it.
Thank you.

I could be wrong, but it looks like he didn't disable his onboard sound when he installed the new sound card.
-
Toki, go into your BIOS screen, and try to disable "onboard sound".
I don't know what it will be labeled, but look for onboard sound, or soundmax, or something similar. It should have a toggle "ON" or "OFF." Set it to "OFF" and reboot.
Make sure your X-Fi still works properly in windows, then start Aces High again.
-
The addition of sound in a flight sim causes quite a burden upon the CPU as the flight sim itself needs all the CPU it can get. Onboard sound is much worse even than the sounblaster but the soundblaster extremegamer dies not offer any advantage to processing sound than through the onboard sound system and so I dont think it will be much different. You are using XP though and that could make a lot of difference compared to say Vista where it would be hopeless without a different soundcard.
-
The trouble was not solved though the state of on-board-sound was made disable in BIOS.
--
(Though this is not an important thing,
My why the state of on-board-sound being made enable, OPTICAL-OUT and MIC-IN of SoundBlaster XtremeGamer are using combinedly terminal.
SB XG OPTICAL-OUT → 5.1ch OPTICAL speaker
on-board-sound MIC-IN → HeadSet-MIC
It is because of use as stated above. )
Thank you.
-
toki I think there are background processes running that are slowing down your system. Processes like license checkers run invisibly but tie up clock cycles and cpu time. You can look for unneccesary processes by using ctrl-alt-delete and clicking the 'processes' tab.
-oops- rules breach
-
Creative's "CTAudSvc.exe" → deleted
Java update "jusched.exe" → off
All startup programs shortcut deleted.
Rebooted,
It did not solve it above.
After that,
--
start-up of system configuration utility → msconfig of Windows → invalidates all
Rebooted,
It did not solve it above.
--
I write repeatedly,
The Advanced setting of AcesHigh is turned on or it turns off, and this trouble disappears.
Thank you.
-
You cannot just disable the onboard sound. You must remove the drivers from the operating system before you disabled the onboard sound chip.
I agree with others that it seems you have far too many processes running in the background. See this post (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,71591.msg2354287.html#msg2354287) for more information about background processes and game stutters.

Thank you for your support.
It becomes impossible to use the MIC when my onboard-sound is invalidated.
The USB-MIC etc. of taking the place cannot be used in the environment of my PC.
I endure the trouble by the way that temporarily becomes normal.
-
an easy way to temporay kill processes is game booster. have used this since it was released way back when. i forget the original name. its free and brings my windows 7 system down to 26 process. just google it. hope this helps

Question #1- sounds like you are using an USB MIC?
Question #2- why not use the SoundBlaster X-Fi soundcard for everything?

I see that you are using 2 sound drivers, and are splitting the dutys of your onboard sound ( SoundMAX Digital Audio ) and your add-on sound card ( SB X-Fi Audio )
maybe someone else can confirm this is correct:, but I suggest
-removing all soundcard drivers and Soundcard hardware from your system manager, for both the onboard sound and for the SB X-Fi add-on soundcard,
-reboot your pc then
-go back into the BIOS and disable the onboard sound............ then save&exit out of bios.......
-boot up, it will pick up your SB X-Fi add-on Sound Card ( do not let it install the drivers automatically )
close / X out of this hardware installation window, then install your SB X-FI sound card drivers manually........
also, your page file is
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 3328MB RAM
Page File: 651MB used, 3268MB available
this is a tad high for Windows XP and shows possible background processes running you may be unaware of......
I feel your 2 sound cards both being set to HW Accel Level: Full is causing your system to bump heads against the 2, possibly causing your stutters, may even be some type of conflict going on
I hope this helps... Good Luck

>Question #1- sounds like you are using an USB MIC?
I am using normal MIC (mini-plug MIC).
>Question #2- why not use the SoundBlaster X-Fi soundcard for everything?
The purpose is to use the MIX function of the recording.
XtremeGamer connections (For Optical).
1. Optical out/Line in/MIC in → Optical out selected (exclusion of using combinedly terminal)
2. Line out1 → none
3. Line out2 → none
4. Line out3 → none
SoundMax
1. Speaker out → none
2. MIC in → MIC
Thank you.
