Um, how? As in how can you do that without affecting the ones that are actualy Dueling at the Dueling Fields in the Dueling Arena?

ENY?

I still say that Tempests and F4U-4s are in desperate need of perking in the DA.

If the purpose of the Dueling Arena is for... you know "Dueling", why would any aircraft need a perk, and why would any country need balancing?
Perhaps I do not understand.

I have yet to experience a Tempest or F4U4 ruin any duel.
Furball lake is just a fun lil show. It's not the actual game that has to be balanced by perking planes - leave that to the MA's, but don't take anything away from those guys actually using the DA for duels.

They're talking about the furball pond knite.  There are DA squads that like to fly as a group in the furball pond in order to hugely outnumber any opponents they encounter.  They are not willing to split up in order to balance the chess piece numbers.

.... and they fly in their group in the DA pretending to be the "big dogs". Seeing as they couldn't survive in the MA's even with their little horde.

Exactly. Was in there Wednesday night and at one point counted as many as five tempests in one engagement, which incidentally was virtually the entirety of one side at that local fight.

I fly a P-40 E in there and never with any help.  Here is the typical result:

The icons are a little blurry but they represent the "challenge ourselves by ganging" mentality.

Tempest, F4U-1C, SpitXVI, P-51D, 109-K4, 190-D9.  Not shown is the P-47 N  right above me making lame BNZ passes.

Though usually, it's mostly uber turny rides and Tempests. Yawn.

Stryker if you don't like the numbers why fly there?  What are you trying to do there that requires equal numbers? Why not fly in one of the main arenas or ask one person for a duel?

just have a bit of fairness in the gaggle? i mean.. obviously im not the only one whos not liking how the DA gets, its really to the point where the only time i even go in there to fly is EARLY AM's.. by 10-11am the gangs start coming and its no longer fun

and as for 1v1 requests.. i ask quite frequently, it doesnt always happen. alot of the times its like no one even acknowledges your speaking

I will go there to practice in a specific ride.  No better way to do that than fly right into a horde!!!  It's just fine, no need to change a thing. :aok

Anax, I get that. But where my disconnect is, is that the DA is called the DUELING arena.

It's awesome that people can use that arena for something other than DUELING, but to ask for the rules in the DUELING arena be changed because of unfairness in doing things other than a Duel, especially where it affects dueling possibilities? That's where my brain goes  :huh

edit : I apologize if my wording seems a bit inflammatory. It is not meant to. I truly am trying to understand the desire to alter what is the perceived core of the dueling arena, based upon the name of the arena. That's all. Sorry if anyone takes this in a manner unintended.
