I had this fog like thing on my headlight and it was just not cleaning off. A friend of my recommended me to get Blue Magic, I was 90% sure it was not going it work. So I was driving by Autozone one day and figured "oh...why not, the thing is only $7", so I bought it. Then a week later (yesterday) I was cleaning my car and decided to give it a try. THE THING WORKED!!!! :x

Holly crap, that's exactly what I need. Last month my car died and I got a new one, but the new one has fogged headlight lenses. I've been wondering what to do to fix it. This is perfect, thanks!

Before using the blue magic clean your light with water to get all the actual "dirt" off, then take a piece of cloth and wipe it so it's completely dry. Only then take the blue magic and apply it to the head light, use another clean & dry piece of cloth and rub the headlight in a circular motion for about 10min. And then just wash off the blue magic with water. Should work.

I'll get some this week. Thanks!

Wonder if that works on rooftop lightbar lenses? I have one from when I was a volunteer FF that has pretty faded lenses on it

there's been one called "safe cut" that we were using on the race car years ago. it needed new windows(getting them this year). they're made out of lexan. they were fogged up BAD. we cleaned them with this stuff. it works great.
i would imagine anything that works on the headlights should work on your lightbar,.
it's ashame......they didn't seem to think the "composite" headlight thing through very well.

Wow worked real good, you said you hand rubbed it on? , i wonder what kind of results you would acheive if you used a buffer, might have to try that.

I used this with my buffer and it worked GREAT! It's just like using the buffer on anything though, be carfull and know what you are doing!

We cut and install lexan in electrical and control boxes all the time. To clear edges after cutting we use a cutting torch. Simply run the torch over the lexan taking care to not over heat it. Clears right up.

i'm somehow thinking that that wouldn't work on an entire window in the race car. :airplane: :airplane: :noid
