You must be part of their squad....I didn't "flame" them. Was just laughing. I used to fly with LCA alot, not really the CJ's. So you won't become offended I won't reply to this thread anymore after this. :)

As it stands, I am not going to be activating my account just yet. I want to make sure I have a small cushion of cash in case stuff hits the fan again. I was on under the tag Dragkhar about two weeks ago. At that time, I had said that I was going to have my account active before that 2 week trial thing expired, but I decided to have a better safety net first. Don't want RL to break through it like last time. :lol I'll be here n there on the forum, but I will give you guys a buzz when I've FINALLY activated my account. Man, AH withdraws are worse than cancer stick withdraws.... I think I'm smoking MORE because of the lack of AH.:furious Must.....get fix.....soon!!! :rofl

I was down last week for 2 days of sims. You would have loved the Hudson River landing. Last year I did it and was able to bring it back to the airport..this time after the bird strikes in both engines #2 was surging so bad it was hard to control and #1 was on fire. I let it burn for a min while it was still making thrust, got the APU up and running just as the #1 shutdown. I made it about 1 mile better than most I guess. Just tuff to put it all togather and get it down safe...Q. Can I write this game off my taxes for emergency trainer?
I do Mexico all month so maybe March.

What is it exactly you think SAPP is? It is definitely not a squad. Actually we fly with each other on average once every two months at best. When we log on together we go to the team with the lowest numbers and do something silly that in no way contributes to winning the war.
That is a big difference from having such a large squad as Claim Jumpers.

Is it me, or does it seem like the whole community is against the Claim Jumpers? I mean, seriously, I don't see other squads actually defend the CJ's here. Either way, once I'm back, I'm going to rejoin the CJ's (if there be a spot open). I fly with them because they are cool and don't bite my head off if I screw up, not because they have the most folks. They introduced me to FSO the moment I went active, which was only a few days earlier. They accepted my "2 week"-ness when I was, well, a 2 weeker. Other folks just kinda flamed me here n there, but these guys helped me out. It's one of the reasons I went active, rather than use up the whole 2 week trial. That and I had, at that point, become horribly addicted to AH. Oh wait, it's not a horrible thing. :joystick: :D
At this point, I'm stalling for tax return. I could go active now, but I really want to have a new computer built. We shall see how things play out. :aok

You better talk to one of us before you pull the trigger on a new system. We've had alot of guys buy new systems that play Aces High great and one of most active topics has to do with setting it up to get the most out of the game! We like the term...I see YOU! FSO's have never been better. Training and sweeps in the MA or our new action in the Axis vs. Allies have been a big help! I hope to see you online soon and let us know if you need any help.

Why not? Seriously, this is not just a juvenile response, why not? What does it matter to you and the cliques within cliques set?

I don’t see the purpose of the web of cliques that exist out there. I am not sure of the meanings, but there is SAPP, Dog Fighters Club, Hot Soup Mafia, and who knows what else. My impression is that these are groups of buddies that wish to exclude ‘the masses.’ If it is your thing, then good for you.
One thing good about the Claim Jumpers is that we have never be accused of being exclusive.
Either way, once I'm back, I'm going to rejoin the CJ's (if there be a spot open).
The question of whether there will be a spot open made me laugh.

We have a large squad and like it that way. At any time of the day we can find friends to fly with.
When someone offers to pay all of our subscriptions, we will operate the way they dictate.
There are plenty of arena choices.
If we bother you so much then when we are in Orange, go fly Blue.
But everyone is invited to fly with or against us in AvA on Monday nights.

Well even though 604 is well under way, I am still a social member of the CJs and fly with them whenever possible.
So they are a bunch of cherry picking hoarde monkeys and a pack of HOing rammers?
They are a fun good humoured bunch of guys who know how to have fun and how to cause chaos and that besides my historcal squad is the thing I love most about AH2.

I respect Ink’s in game skill. However, I do not see the point of coming into the Squadron Forum and posting about a squad in the third person on a thread of which the topic is that squad. It is classless and unnecessary. Are his expectations that we will all see the error of our ways and aspire to be like him?

there comes a point that your hordling fun is detrimental to game play, and at the cost of others fun, it does get old having so many cons on ya at once, i mean seriously even the "best" is gonna be hard pressed to kill 5 cons on him. why would you attack a single con with 10 or more guys?????????? it is absurd the way you guys and other huge squads fly in your numbers and think it's cool :rolleyes:

Well, I didn't mean to get asssed up about it. It's just that everytime anyone in the squad posts anything people invade the thread and start flaming.
Probably the reason there are so many wings/squads is that as some get full, others are started and then some leave and the wing/squad dwindles to a few and we haven't gotten around to consolidating them.

I'm not a fan of the multi winged squad. Even though I agree with the opinions expressed by some of you. I have to say this is the wrong forum for the conversation.
Every squad's recruitment thread no matter how large or small of a squad they happen to be should be a no fire zone for negative comments. This debate can easily be moved to another forum allowing the Claim Jumpers a clean recruiting thread. No matter how much I respect some of you guys this just isn't the place for this debate.

Fine, you are entitled to your opinion, but was your opinion solicited by the person who started this thread, or did you just take it upon yourself to butt in here as so many always do?
Try to get the rules changed, start your own complaint thread, do whatever.
Just don't expect a warm welcome when you invade someone else's thread for flaming purposes.
And if I fly into the midst of ten enemy cons, I expect to be attacked by ten enemy cons, that happens all the time, whether they are all from the same squad or not.

I'm not often on in prime time so I see a different side of my squad then others apparently do.
Rufs a good guy but I guess we can get a little thin skinned when we cant post anything without it becoming a "flamefest".

Well, that's kind of subjective, there are a lot of things I think ruin my game play. such as better pilots than me (most) LOL, like BnZ Tempests and ponies when I'm looking for a turn fight, but I guess we all have a choice as to a different area of the map don't we?

I only have one other point, and that is the max for a single squad is what 32 players?
Really, how many times do we actually have more than that on at the same time?
So having multiple squads/wings is sort of irrelevant, as anyone with a full single squad could put as many numbers in the air as we do most of the time.
