Title: Ostwing Gun Sound And Gunsights
Post by: funked on September 10, 2000, 05:20:00 PM
I noticed that the gun sound seems to be slower than the actual rate of fire. I checked the length of the .wav and it was 0.40 seconds, but the rate of fire (I measured it with a stopwatch) is 250 rounds per minute, which means the .wav should be 0.24 seconds long.
Here is a link to a modified 0.24 second sound for those who are anal retentive like me.  http://www.raf303.org/funked/37mm_1.wav (http://www.raf303.org/funked/37mm_1.wav)

Also, Torquila made a couple of excellent Ostwind gunsights.  One is a dual-purpose sight with elevation marks, and the other is a specialized AAA sight. http://www.raf303.org/funked/Ostwind%20Sight%201.01r2.zip (http://www.raf303.org/funked/Ostwind%20Sight%201.01r2.zip)  http://www.raf303.org/funked/Ostwind%20AA.zip (http://www.raf303.org/funked/Ostwind%20AA.zip)

Depends on whether the damned thing just hit your plane or not.... in the latter case, you need to add a "L" to the front of it  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
