I wish AH had the BR.20.

I also really like the screenshots of the small barge and fishing boat.

That paint scheme is designed to embarrass your enemy even more when you shoot them down.

You should check out the water effects on the screenshots of the small barge and fishing boat, incredible.  Wish we had that in AH as well.

Doing that now! Mouth open and drooling lol. It's phenominal.

See the cockpit of the Spitfire? Big pic so I'm only putting link

With TrackIr and that kind of detail? Oh man.  Talk about immersion and
having a sense of looking forward within a cockpit.  Makes me wonder what
our kids and their kids will have to "fly" with.

I've been messing around with IL-2 ever since it first appeared. Great graphics and options, wind-up undercarriages (press the allocated key repeatedly until the uplocks engage), constant-speed props and complex engine management, plus lots of other splendid features, it's an excellent sim - but unsuited to a large multi-player arena because there's so much data to push around the sky. HT's AH compromises make for smoother connex and gameplay.

But when we can all afford that super-'puter and the ISPs have managed to beat the speed of light - WOW! - go for it!

Also if you belly land in a body of water your plane will sink.

I wonder if Kurfurst is blowing a gasket over the text on the Spitfire's fuel tank?

Very effective for use against those with red-green color blindness at low level during spring time.

One of the joys of IL-2 is that you can tart up your ride in any paint scheme you fancy and fly it online in Hyperlobby; in AH, all such have to be approved before they can be seen online by others.

My scabby ol' IL-2 Sea Hurricane Mk.IA and Polikarpov I-16 'Ol Moskotch' are nice, but the shiny Dayglo Crimson Bf109G with USAAF markings I saw the last time I was in the arena was WOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!

Way back in my IL2 days, I did a skin that was all white except for SHOOT in big red letters on the left wing. HERE in big red letters on the right wing, and a big red arrow from the cockpit down the fuselage pointing at the tail.

Lots of people did.  :D
