in the first night of Iraq War II...?
and some non-entity blew up a grenade in his CO's tent.
That wasn't cool.
MESSAGE TO ALL A-RABS: Be cool.

I was dozing in a humvee a half-mile or so away when that happened. For a few we thought the party was kicking off early. Turned out it was one of our own whackjobs. Yeah, that was a tough one to take, especially at that time & place.

How many INn's can you sleep in in one night?

I remember when that was reported. My thoughts were something along the lines of "How could they have deployed that soldier to that fight with that attitude and not think something would happen?" Doesn't the Army know about these guys in their ranks? Is it a matter of political correctness that they don't screen them out? For the life of me I can't imagine no one had the foresight then or now to see this coming. If I'm wrong, help me understand.
