First off I know very little about computers.
I have a eMachines T5010 with a Intel P4 2.93GHz CPU.
The documentation that I've found says
"This computer comes with 1-pcix1 pci express slot. It is NOT for pci express video cards, which require the pcix16 pci express slot."
Will I be able to add a graphic accelerator card and if so what kind or type?
Thanks

you might be able to get a bit off help, but I'm thinking it would be like putting shiny wheels on your car. Sure it will look better, but it really won't make it run much better :D
You'll basically be throwing money away. Any money you put into that computer will be a waste as you won't be able to use anything from it to upgrade into a newer system. Save your money, $500 will get you a decent system, $1000 will get you one of DrDeath's killer systems (do a search on these boards).

I think I know what to ask Santa for now.
Thanks for the info.

I had the emachine 5110 I do believe as my first comp and I put a upgraded video card in and it ran fine.
Only thing you need to remember is, do you have the power supply to handle the card??
