Title: Reworked P-38L skins submitted
Post by: oboe on November 08, 2009, 05:27:47 PM: Was finally able to finish up and submit re-works of my old P-38L skins. Been a while coming, sorry I missed the last skin batch.

Heya Ghost,

I checked the unit history on your squad's webpage (very nice!) but it doesn't appear that the 40th FS ever flew P-38s. They transitioned from P-39s to P-47s, then to P-51s. Sorry, dude!

I read up...SOME....more we flew P38G's early war.

I understand the 40th FS was part of the 35th FG, and the 39th FS of this group did have P-38s though.
