Ok, what can you tell me about this plane, and do you think it would be a better addition that the He177?  I know one thing and that the Ju290 is damn pretty!   :)

Only about 50 was ever made and some of them got armament of 10MG151/20mm + couple MG's.
Bombload was about 3000kg which is quite a lot smaller than Greifs.
Thought that defensive armamentcould be nice to have  :D

Thanks Staga, the defensive armanent sure looks good but as you mentioned the bombload isn't as good as the He177.

Construction of the Ju 290B-1 began in September 1943, but experience with studmuffin 5 showed that defensive armament was inadequate
