Viperius you comments have no place in this thread if that is the attitude you are going to take.  Please respect the OP's desire to make a heartfelt thread dedicated to saluting those who have sacrificed for over 230 years to make this what we believe to be the greatest nation of all.  If you have a problem with that or want to express your opinions you are more than welcome to but please do it some place else.  Thank you and have a nice day.

You folks in the USA call it Veterans' Day, to us Brits it's Remembrance Day. Same thoughts, same damn wars.

There's a line on a memorial at Kohima that says it all:

For your tomorrow we gave our today.

All those who did and still do, I thank you.
