Well let's start here, it's another wonderful night at the races, ad we are using the P38G for this round. A little about the course: The course is called "Twin Peaks" for a reason; two peaks at altitudes at least 10K. So I climb the first peak with not too much peak, the we had to dive down from 15K to the Bomber Hanger on the pad:

So I get down and try and get through the hangar, but...

.. I break a prop. Immedietly after breaking the prop, we have to climb up to another peak, that goes to 10K, but I wasn't sure that I had enough power to get up there on one engine, but I decide to go up anyways.

I start getting up there, and faster and faster I know that I am not going to make it up this hill, so I dump my flaps and gear...
So I hit at a high angle and...
BUT IT'S NOT OVER!!!! The hill was steep enough to keep me moving, so I start to gain speed down the hill, knowing eventually it would tail spin. I was trying to get it back off the ground whne it finally started to happen, it rips one of the rudders off
(http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh198/mniezelski/P38G6.jpg)
So it rolls a little more and I find the drop off. The poor P38G finally gets off in the air again, but only enugh to turn it upside down, breaking the other rudder, and rolling down the hill upside down.
Now, this next part seems to look like I hit a rock or somthing, that tears off the rest of the right side of my wing, and starts to flail it about merciflessly
(http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh198/mniezelski/P38G9.jpg)
After it does it's thing, it turns around, and breaks the elevators
(http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh198/mniezelski/P38G10.jpg)
Rolling a little more ways down the hill, it finally breaks off the booms.
So now finally in the end, I come to rest at the bottom of the hill

Notice how goes from a snowy hillside to a desolate flatland? That's how big that hill was. It was a fun night, more people should come to the AHXARAL!

gotta give it a 7, you still have your landing gear :neener: but it looked like a fun ride :aok

Actually, intact landing gear is preferable and helps in the bounce and vaulting factor.. From a semi-professional perspective, I'd have to give him 9 only because he didn't land belly up(hence where the intact landing gear comes in for aesthetic purposes, similar to how a gymnast finishes a routine in a particular elongated pose).. Nice job, though!! :aok

How about me? Do I qualify?

No
SAPP requires correct aircraft to be used in all submission. Sorry..... have a nice day!

No... Absolutely not... This is an instant disqualification(a severe one at that)..

<------ East German judge gives you a 9.541238947897571723272374897 1247234723 :O :O :O
...would have been a 9.6 if one of the rudders held.
Nice landing...and nice post!

Sure does! We can use our extra carbon credits to buy new ones anyway!
