The heading just about says it all. I would just like to see statistics on the CV killers.
-
as in sinking cv score? orr gunners in cv score. or what?
semp
-
I never bomb CVs...... so it wouldnt effect me either way........ but for those who do it might be nice to see that as a stat on the scores......... similar to bases captured
-
I dont think it should be used in any way to count as score but yes I would like to see who is killing CVs the most. :devil
-
does dive bombing with lancstukas count as a legit kill though? :noid
-
Oh absolutely... but not for a score of any kind just for statistics. :D
-
The only problem is the other items that are tallied when killed, an effort is made to award the 'kill' to the person who did the most damage to it.
Ships are credited to whoever hit it last.
Not really accurate.
It's a fine idea, if they give credit where credit is due.
-
I think the scores should go with the appropriate plane, sb, tank.
Albeit if you sink a cv with lancstukka's then you get lower points for that vs if you use a sbd, and you get more pointage if you happen to be lucky enough to sink the cv with a tank. I don't know but does this sound fair??
-
I think in the current setting they dont award you "credit" its more like a note that cv is down.

the point system doesnt need to be effected in any way...... the only credit/award you get is a little counter in your stats that shows you destroyed a ship......... its more of a braggin rights thing (just like everything else on the stats) ........ it doesnt matter if you didnt deliver the most damage...... you delivered the fatal blow........... same as with any other object..... if a guy drops 2K on a hanger and the next guy drops 500......... the last guy got the credit and the points for object destroyed

I'm proud to kill cv's in my Lancastuka. :devil

I have never dive bombed in buff, just on principle. and I have killed many cv's by level bombing, i usually go between 5.5 to 6k max, full speed, no way u can miss the cv, turning or not and 9 out of 10 I will make it back with all 3 planes in one piece, maybe a little smoke, but that's about it. Main thing is plan your attack, never come in the direction of the base being attacked. I kill about 10 to 15 cv's a month, but only because I love furballs and will only sink cv if all they wanna do is vulch. :t

I used to kill CVs a lot. Only got Perks for them. Then I tried long-range torpedo attacks using Ju88s. Requires more skill and loadsa luck. Never did get the hang of it.

As in sinking.

I would like to see who has CV kills only because there seems to be a select few individuals who have a very uncanny knack for showing up over the top of a CV just high enough to be out of auto ack range & calibrated no matter where on the map the CV is.
So I would like to see stats so the witch hunt can begin as it was used for those who were killing squaddies or dual accounts. At one point in time I had 12 films of one individual alone that just kept showing up in the middle of no were & sinking CV's. The moment you would make a correction of the CV long before the culprit could see the CV he would be making corrections??? How would that be possible unless he was watching on another account.
So let the witch hunt begin.

So let the witch hunt begin.
Whoa boy this would generate some controversy... :uhoh

I started logging in about the time the kids get home from school and you can see the CVs set for a course out in the middle of nowhere with a single con upping along that course. So I would takeoff and head out to intercept of course thinking its a strat runner but no... coming right down the CV course line are bombers which I then kill. The next day the same thing happens only this time I correct the cv path back to mutual support of the other cv in the area. When I find the bombers he is following the original path but is now turning toward a CV that is now two sectors away on the new course.
The next day our port is under attack and the CV is out of position in the clear between bases. I grab the CV and move it back to the port and the noob that moved it out there has the stones to cuss me (reported) for having taken it from him/her (cussing me again -also reported- when I say if you have the rank take it back - ha). Then he/she defects to knights and makes five unsuccessful attempts to sink the CV.
I think its the only way they can get attention.

cc that challenge, it happens a lot. some people play the buddy system, and its always suspicious when cv gets sunk out in the middle of nowhere. and all for a useless rank :rofl. eventually some people will realize that rank doesnt get you "respect". the way you fly and play the game will. most of the players that are the best dont even rank in the top 500, there's a few that are truly great, that rank high, but most only excel at avoiding a fite.
